Chances are that you believe some of the learning myths discussed in these articles to be true. However, it’s never too late to course-correct!

Each article in this list debunks a popular learning myth by presenting relevant research on the topic and offering an alternative approach. These articles will help you overcome preconceived ideas about learning. These myths include:

  1. Visual learners learn better with images” (not true!)

  2. Learning should be easy and enjoyable” (sadly incorrect)

  3. You should avoid making mistakes” (the opposite is actually true)

  4. You should learn topics in order” (it sounds logical but it’s not)

  5. Microlearning doesn’t work” (it does).
